2010 GERMAN GP: VETTEL WITH 0.002S AHEAD ALONSO FOR POLE POSITION

JUST DO IT, AGAIN

It's Vettel's day and the German takes pole for the German Grand Prix! Sebastian Vettel snatched a dramatic pole position in the dying seconds to edge out Fernando Alonso at Hockenheim. Ferrari and Red Bull dominated the action, followed by McLarens.

In Q1 the most interesting moment was a few minute red flag when Liuzzi at the exit of the last turn went out to artificial surface that was dipped from the morning rain, lost contact with track and was launched directly into the concrete barrier on other side.Alonso was fastest in this segment ahead of Vettel, Massa, Webber, Hamilton and Kubica, last positions belong to Trulli, Kovalainen, Glock, Senna, Liuzzi, Yamamoto, Di Grassi.

In Q2 interesting fight for entry into top 10. Ferrari was extremely strong, reported now they use off-throttle ehaust technique of Red Bull which is thought to have increased their qualifying performance.So, Alonso was fastest ahead of Vettel, Webber, Massa, Hamilton, Barrichello, Button , Kubica, Hulkenberg, Rosberg, and that was ten drivers qualificatied in last session. Schumacher again defeated by his teammate, leading drivers that was out, ie Schumacher, Kobayashi, disability, Sutil, de la Rosa, Alguersuari, Buemi.
