2011 BRASIL GP: NEW DOMINANT 1-2 FOR RED BULL, WEBBER AHEAD OF VETTEL

Go, go, go Red Bull!!!
Red Bull absolutely dominated the Interlagos race. Mark Webber took his first win of the season at the Brazilian Grand Prix as team-mate Sebastian Vettel struggled to second with a race-long gearbox problem.

Vettel lead at the start, and Webber fending off the cars behind for second despite a slightly slower getaway.Vettel soon opened up a stable three-second gap to Webber, as the Red Bull duo left the rest in their wake at a rate sometimes up to one second per lap.

But from the early laps Vettel was receiving radio messages warning him to short-shift to nurse a developing gearbox problem, his pace slowed enough for Webber to sweep into the lead on lap 29.While the Australian went on to take his first win since the 2010 Hungarian GP, Vettel still had enough pace to hang on for second.
The Brazilian Grand Prix, Interlagos, Sao Paulo.

2011 ABU DHABI GP: FRIDAY RESULTS

Jenson Button fastest driver on Free Practice 1
FIRST FREE PRACTICE
Jenson Button was fastest driver on first free practice session for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, followed by Mark Webber and Lewis Hamilton. Not so surprising results, but the use of experimental Pirelli soft tires will not allow to properly find out what happened in morning session.Perhaps the most interesting moments spining of Felipe Massa and a little later runway on his teammate Fernando Alonso. Ferrari continue to test items for the new season and this is probably the cause of accidents.

At the end of training Petrov went earlier in boxing, probably becouse of Renaults advanced exhaust system. The three "new" drivers on the track, 11th time for JE Vergne and R.Grosjan with 12th, 23rd time for Robert Wickens.Only driver not to set time was Barrichello due to engine problems.

McLaren was fastest car again!!!
SECOND FREE PRACTICE
Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time of the second practice session for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso both crashed.

Hamilton's time of 1:39.586 was just 0.199s quicker than his McLaren team-mate Jenson Button as neither suffered the fate of Vettel or Alonso who both spun off at turn one. Despite that, Alonso was third ahead of Felipe Massa in fourth, with the Red Bull pair of Mark Webber and Vettel fifth and sixth quickest as the top six were separated by less than 0.6s.

Vettel spun at turn one after putting two wheels on the kerb under braking and slid sideways in to the wall. The expansive runoff area meant he managed to slow the car a lot but was unable to prevent it from nestling in the barriers. The damage was minimal, with just a broken front wing, but his session was interrupted as he had to wait for the car to be returned before getting back out for the final ten minutes.

Alonso soon followed suit as he lost the rear of his car later in the same corner, and slid backwards in to the barrier. He was less fortunate than Vettel, as he damaged the rear of the car and broke the suspension, ending his running.

2011 INDIA GP: VETTEL SECURED NEW POLE

Another superb pole for German driver!!!
Sebastian Vettel did it again. He won his 13th pole this season and will stay enrolled in the history of Indian Grand Prix as driver who won the inaugural first starting position. Vettel got equal by the number of pole positions won in one season with Ayrton Senna and Alan Prost. He needs two more to be alone on top where now is Nigel Mansell with 14 pole positions in one season. Also, this was the 16th pole position for Red Bull this season, a new team record.

The fight for second place went to Lewis Hamilton, beating Mark Webber for a few hundredths of a second, but Briton will start from fifth becouse of yesterday penalty. This means that Red Bull starts from the first row, Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button from second and "good friends" Felipe Massa and Hamilton starting from the third row. To say that the Massa had spectacularly crash in his last fast lap, when he broke the front suspension of his right wheel from one of kerbs in turn 1.

2011 KOREAN GP: LOT OF FRIDAY RAIN!!!

FIRST FREE PRACTICE
Lot of rain and little driving on the first free practice for Korean Grand Prix. In such a situation Schumacher was fastest, followed by Sebastian Vettel and Paul di Resta. Many off track experience, but no serious incidents, closest to that was Vettel with a Virgin car. All cars had full wet tires, becouse track was completely damp. So nothing significant happened in the first practice.

SECOND FREE PRACTICE
During the second free practice was not raining but the track was not dry enough for slick tires so all cars drove by Intermedia Pirelli tires. Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time ahead of Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel, with gap almost 2 seconds behind the fastest time. All fast laps were set up with new tires, but the amount of fuel was unknown, so this difference could hardly be explained otherwise than by radically different program for the practice between teams.

An interesting incident had Nico Rosberg, who failed to stop on the final streight and hit car of Algersuari Jamie, who at that moment was emerging out of the pits. Rosberg has already said that the pit exit is dangerous and asked that it be changed. He was summoned by the stewards to explain his actions, but come late and was fined 10,000 for the delay Stewards concluded that Rosberg has good behavior  in Formula 1 and don`t deserves sanction about that incident.

2011 JAPANESE GP: BUTTON SECURED WIN, VETTEL SECURED TITLE!!!

Sebastian Vettel secured Title with 3-rd place, Button wins Suzuka 2011!!!

Button with a beautiful and perfect driving tactics came to win Suzuka, but Sebastian Vettel has received all congratulations for second consecutive title of World Champion in Formula 1. He did not realize the desire to do it with a win, but third place on the podium was enough to theoretically ensure the title.

On this Japanese Grand Prix tires were the deciding factor, so the drivers and cars that are "soft" towards the Pirelli tires were on the first two places. Jenson Button as the winner, with Alonso and Ferrari settle for second place. A good race for Alonso, and showed how to drive, not like the last race when he overslept it. He passed Vettel through pit-stop strategy, and later even tried to attack Button for first place, but Button does not allow that, on the contrary in the last laps he speed up and set the fastest lap in the race.

Mark Webber with another average performance in fourth place, supported by contact with Michael Schumacher, again with loss of the front wing. As Australian and Hamilton with another contact again with Felipe Massa, and was considered by the stewards. They decided that there was no basis for sanctions.

Michael Schumacher again with good performance, indicating Mercedes GP good performance in next season? Let's hope. One of the better drivers today was Sergio Perez, who started as a 17-th and finished the race on 8 place. Notable progress had Nico Rosberg, who started as a 23-rd and eventually managed to score a point with tenth place.

2011 JAPANESE GP: VETTEL SECURED ANOTHER POLE

Vettel stole Pole from Jenson, Lewis asking himself why Button started to beat me.
Sebastian Vettel took his 12th pole position of the season at Suzuka, denying Jenson Button the top spot by just 0.009 seconds. After McLaren and Button had topped all three practice sessions, and Lewis Hamilton led Q2 and the initial Q3 laps, it looked like Red Bull might finally be beaten to a pole for the first time in 2011.

But Hamilton made error and will start third, alongside Felipe Massa, with Fernando Alonso fifth and Mark Webber sixth.Michael Schumacher starts seventh despite making the same mistake as Hamilton, with Bruno Senna eighth, Vitaly Petrov ninth and Kamui Kobayashi tenth even though all four failed to set a time. Their positions were decided by sector times as none of the four completed a lap.

It was a strange end to the session as McLaren had looked quickest and Hamilton emerging in qualifying as the favourite for pole. However, going in to the final chicane Hamilton was swamped by Webber on the inside and Schumacher on the outside, leaving him unable to cross the line in time to set a lap.

2011 SINGAPORE GP: VETTEL DID IT AGAIN!!!

Seb step closer to secure second World Champion Title!!!
Sebastian Vettel took a dominant victory at the Singapore Grand Prix, holding off a late charge from Jenson Button whose second place ensured the title hunt will stay alive for at least another round. Vettel utterly dominated the majority of the race. The Red Bull man was a second per lap faster than his pursuers at first, and though the pack closed up with a mid-race safety car after Michael Schumacher clipped Sergio Perez and was launched into a violent accident - from which he emerged unhurt - Vettel had a cushion of backmarkers behind him at the restart and was eight seconds clear again after just one lap.

2011 SINGAPORE GP: VETTEL MADE FIRST STEP TO SECURE TITLE

Another Pole for Sebastian Vettel, 11-th this season and new 1-2 for Red Bull. Mark Webber will start from second position. Today, each team secured one starting row. Second will be for McLaren's drivers, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton, ahead of the Ferrari drivers, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa. The fourth row is reserved for the Mercedes GP, Nico Rosberg, along Michael Schumacher, who has not seet a time. Force India's drivers, Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta will start from the fifth row tomorrow for the race.

What to say about these qualifications, from the first minute we saw that nobody will beat SebastianVettel, who made the first step to secure another World Champion Title, but if the race would finish in the order of these qualifications, German will be world champion(yet). Alonso, Button and Hamilton will be no more in the fight for the title, but will remain Mark Weber. So expect Weber not to be second :) in tomorrow race. But all can go upside down. Some are still predicting rain for tomorrow, a significant factor are kerbs and close walls, so we can hope for an interesting race tomorrow. The race starts at 14:00 Central European time.

2011 SINGAPORE GP: VETTEL FASTEST ON FP2

Vettel wants title right away
Sebastian Vettel was fastest in second free training in Singapore, demonstrated the high aggressiveness and superiority in his car, as if to say he is determined to verify his second world champion title already in this race.

Vettel was 0.201 seconds faster than Alonso in second place and 0.7 seconds of Hamilton as the third fastest this session, he didn`t repeat the form from the morning (for us Europeans) training. Ferrari had a lot of work in setting the cars to make up for lost time during the first training. Massa eventually finished fourth, only slightly ahead of Mark Webber in the second Red Bull. And here ended drivers who will compete for the pole and win the race.

We should not forget and Jenson Button who finished this training much earlier than planned when he failed to catch the curve 14, went off and although not hit the barriers, was not able to return to the track because of the reverse gear on his car was not working and had to abandon the session. Finally finished 10th.

Michael Schumacher confirmed his good form in the last few weekends with setting sixth fastest time for the Mercedes GP and heads the group with the gap from fastest over than two seconds. It was followed by Adrian Sutil, with Force India, and Sauber`s of Sergio Perez and Kamui Kobayashi. As mentioned before Button to complete the top ten of this training.

The difference between the fastest and slowest is huge, so Jerome d `Ambrosio and the HRT cars look vulnerable to time rule of 107%, with more than eight seconds behind Vettel. We look forward to tomorrow's qualifying, starting at 16 pm Central European time.

2011 SINGAPORE GP: HAMILTON FASTEST ON SHORTENED FP1

Lewis Hamilton Fastest on Free practice 1 for Singapore Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton was quickest for McLaren in a shortened first free practice for the Singapore Grand Prix.Issues with the kerbing on the exit of Turns 3 and 14 developed during support race session, and led to an half-hour delay while the kerbs were removed before the session could get underway. With only a two-hour gap between Friday practice sessions in Singapore, practice one was reduced to just 60 minutes to keep the timetable on schedule, although a further problem with the kerbing, this time at Turn 7, brought the red flags out eight minutes from the end. Quick work by marshals saw the offending kerb section removed within five minutes so a little more running could take place.
