Mercedes GP team plan to use older version of his car in Monaco. Brackley team brought in Barcelona a chassis with greater distance between the axles, which have helped Michael Schumacher to pass his team mate Nico Rosberg for the first time this season. But some German sources, the pre-Barcelona package which led Rosberg on the podium twice in four races will be used again in Monaco, as best suited to the tight and twisty circuit of Monaco. However, new aerodynamic updates introduced in Spain are built on the old chassis, including the new air intake of the engine.
"I am very optimistic and I believe we will be more competitive," said CEO Nick Fry, the German TV station, RTL.
